Ingrid Rex	2001	Posted: 10/19/2009 Purchased new Odyssey on 9/8/2001. Transmission failed at 50,804 on 6/9/05. Was replaced by Honda with a reconditioned transmission (eventhough we had purchased the extended warranty to begin with and feel it should have been replaced with a NEW transmission) and only guaranteed for additional 36,000 miles. We reported a knocking in the transmission to Honda at 69,448 miles on 1/15/2007, but Honda technicians 'found nothing at fault'. Second transmission has just failed on 10/12/2009 at approx 107,000 miles. Honda has only promised to pay 60% cost of putting in a third transmission. We have to now find $1200 for the rest of the repair. I am disgusted with this product.
