CAY	2002	Posted: 11/19/2009 We are the original owners of a 2002 Ody. Yesterday at 108K the engine light went on. We are getting multiple transmission errors on the diagnostics and the transmission is going to fail. It will cost $3400 (discounted by the dealer from $4400 originally quoted) for the new transmission. The car also needs $2000 of other work, we are not likely to do the repairs and will probably buy another vehicle. This is astounding, since we went with Honda for reliability etc. We feel really gut-punched by Honda who extended the warranty to 109K for this very thing after a class action law suit for the 1999-2001 models. And us 2002 owners are left to hang. I called Jared Stamell (lawyer for the 1st class action suit) in NYC and gave my info to be added to a potential class action suit for the 02-03 owners.
