Odyssey Transmission

2002 Odyssey, I'm the second owner. Purchased with 53k in march of 06 and now it has 107k. The shift always felt funny to me, but I felt it most during the 2-3 shift which was about the speed limit in our neighborhood. It really felt like the transmission was wandering, or could not decide if it wanted to be in 2nd or 3rd. Well as of late the 2-3 and 3-4 shift have began slip horribly, it's not even drivable now. I have open a case with Honda, they requested my service records which I sent over. I had the fluid changed not long after I got it because I was not certain it ad ever been done. Around 85k the shifting issue was very pronounced, I changed the fluid again, both times with Honda fluid in hopes it would straighten out. Local dealer says new trans $4500 +. I'm waiting to hear from Honda America and hoping for the best. My rep seemed genuinley concerned and plesant but we'll see once we start talking money. Will update once we have a solution.
