sylvainaj	2003	Posted: 12/11/2009 I just bought a 2003 Odyssey over the Thanksgiving holiday. It has 77K miles and almost immediately I began experiencing a violent shuddering when it shifted between 2nd and 3rd gear. So I started to do a little research and found this site. Had I known, I never would have bought the thing. I've never had this kind of trouble with a Honda product and I've owned an Accord, Integra, and a Civic. Has anyone tried the remanufactured transmission from TransmissionPlanet.com? I spoke to them and they say they sell a redesigned transmission free from the original defects.

2002here	NA	Posted: 12/11/2009 That stinks... Did you buy it from a dealership? I haven't heard of anything about TransmissionPlanet. I read somewhere that people were buying Jasper Transmissions (link is on the left). I am on a replacement transmission from Honda - replaced about a year ago. I hear they go bad as well. I have noticed hard shifts already, but no engine revs yet.
