donkenkins	2009	Posted: 12/28/2009 I have a 2009 LX with 7000 miles on it and the decelleration downshifting is very jerky when at speeds less than 45. Taking it to the dealer tomorrow for a checkup.. I also had the master cylinder replaced at 350 miles. Was defective and pedal would not release completely from the floor. 3rd, the engine is making a pinging knocking noise. Last Honda I will ever buy.

harloda	NA	Posted: 03/11/2010 I also have a 2009 Odyssey LX that sometimes has rough downshifts. The dealer took it for a test drive and maintained it was performing properly. Much of the time I do not notice rough downshifts, but when I do, it's definitely not up to par. Someone else reported similar symptoms just a lower speeds. My previous Odyssy, a 2005 LX, had much smoother transmission, and had much better brake pedal feel.
