Docia Rose	2004	Posted: 01/26/2010 I have TWO Odyssey Vans - the 2001's transmission failed around the 110,000 mark. My 2004 Odyssey van, which has received every single bit of its maintenance from a Honda dealership, has a single driver and only 80,000 miles - got a TCS light the afternoon I picked it up from the Dealer for scheduled maintenance just before Christmas - then last night suddenly started slowing down while the engine revved - took it out today to try to get it to the dealer - suddenly had slowing to a stop, engine revving and then dying, TCS light, engine light. Would restart and go a few blocks - managed to make it to the Dealership - they want $3900 - GOOD GRIEF. My Japanese made Honda years ago had not had a major repair at 300,000 miles (not a typo). My second Honda had air conditioning problems probably induced by an incompetant dealership and NOW I HAVE TWO Odysseys' with low mileage and Bad Transmissions. May not be a Honda the next time! C
