tdwb	2003	Posted: 03/04/2010 03 odyssey 112,000 mile, transmission starts down shifting going 50mph, it seemed to shift from 4th or 5th i dont know what speed they are,back into 1st or 2nd. has this ever happened to anyone let me know.

george	NA	Posted: 03/06/2010 Our 02 downshifted at 70MPH on the interstate and almost caused a muli-car accident. The tach redlined and 4 quarts of tranny fluid blew out thru the dipstick. The fluid dropped on the exhaust manifold and sent a smoke screen across the interstate. It was our 2nd transmission. the first one went at 71k and the 2nd one went at 142k. (kind of ironic, 71k per tranny) BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!! The van may kill you!!!
