At around 25,000 miles, we started experiencing issues with a "shudder" during light acceleration on level roads at around 40 MPH. It felt like you were going over small speed bumps, or a rough/washboard road.
I took the vehicle into the Honda dealership and went for a test drive with their transmission specialist. He admitted that this has been a recurring problem and that the first step was to update the PCM automatic transmission software. If that doesn't remedy the problem, the next step is a replacement of the torque converter.
