JESZ	2002	Posted: 05/07/2010 I have a 2002 Odyssey that the dealer just told me that it needed a new transmission, costing $4800. They will call Honda to discuss my case on Monday. Anything I should do in the mean time? Should I also call Honda America for my case? Thanks Jessie

Zammy	NA	Posted: 05/08/2010 They're gonna give you next to ZERO help. See what they say and them move on to Honda consumer affairs and ABSOLUTLY report it to NHTSA .

Bestill	NA	Posted: 05/09/2010 I went through the same story. They offered to do tranny for $2,600 plus $400 for broken motor mount. Based on all I read and the fact that they just put in a rebuild of the same tranny, I bought a used Toyota and sold my Odyssey as is. Took a big loss but glad to be rid of it and so far love the Toyota. I will never buy another Honda! Good luck.
