I have a 2002 Odyssey that the dealer just told me that it needed a new transmission, costing $4800.  They will call Honda to discuss my case on Monday.  Anything I should do in the mean time?  Should I also call Honda America for my case?  Thanks

Jessie

They're gonna give you next to ZERO help. See what they say and them move on to Honda consumer affairs and ABSOLUTLY report it to NHTSA .

I went through the same story.  They offered to do tranny for $2,600 plus $400 for broken motor mount.  Based on all I read and the fact that they just put in a rebuild of the same tranny, I bought a used Toyota and sold my Odyssey as is.  Took a big loss but glad to be rid of it and so far love the Toyota.  I will never buy another Honda!  Good luck.
