103000 Transmission	2004	Posted: 06/03/2010 My drive light indicates that I have a transmission problem. I wrote the Honda Corporation a detailed letter describing that I am the only owner, have serviced the honda for years at the dealership, owned the extended warranty and I would like assistance on the repair. I received a call, but not much help. They wanted me to go back to the dealership, but the dealership charges a $286 fee just to test. So I went to two other repair shops; one for $4,000 and the other for $2,000. This is my only vehicle, so I guess the $2,000 fix is a go. I just read a blog that stated that the honda replacement transmission is junk, so I believe I'm making the correct decision.
