ester68	2003	Posted: 05/06/2009 I am driving a 2003 Odyssey at 83,000 miles now. I bought it from the dealership with only 197 miles on it. I have been up to date with the maintenace. Mostly we drove this for family long travels. Just last week I noticed when shifting to next gear, it feels like it slips for seconds and the gear shifted. i was too scared to drive it in the freeway with my children. I went to the dealership and had it checked, he said its the transmission unit. They need to replace the whole unit. It will cost me $3,500. Whoa!!! A lot of money. I didn't have the extended warranty done. Now,I don't know what to do.
