2002 Honda Odyssey 142K miles transmission failure (2nd owner.)  It didn't want to shift into 3rd gear starting last week so I was proactive got my quotes done. Check engine, TCS lights this morning.  P0730 code thrown. Didn't even bother to call Honda.  Jasper trany is getting installed tomorrow.

You sir, have got your act together.  Your warranty will be in writing, and you will be happy.  You should get 300,000 out of the motor.  All you have to deal with now is the stupid clock light going out, and the SRS light getting stuck on.

Got it back today.  It is shifting a little hard inbetween 1st/2nd and 2nd/3rd.  I know a shift-kit can cause harder shifts and I am not sure if Jasper uses such a kit.  I don't know if I am being over paranoid but I will give it a couple of days.

For anyone condsidering going with Jasper, my total cost installed was $3664.44 in Cincinnati OH on 2-28-12.  I called over 50 Jasper installers and had prices range up to over $4500.  So if you go with Jasper it pays to shop around if you have the option.  I will update this as time processes for those considering this option.

Mr. Sucks, I thought I got this posted from another computer, but I must be wrong.  I have seen quotes for $100 from a Honda dealer -to do the clock light.  You have to remove most of the dashboard.  They bill for an hour.  The light bulb is worth about a $1.  There is a post on the internet which I found by googling "2002 Odyssey clock light replacement" and some nice person gave details on how to do it yourself. He put in pictures and details. I figured that I would wear my wristwatch, so I have ignored the whole thing. I will not go back to Honda for any reason.  Good luck.
