I have a 2017 Honda Odyssey with less than 4000kms where I have experienced transmission problems when in drive when the speed is between 25 kms and 30 kms. I thought that I was going to lose the transmission. The only way which I could eliminate this ‘clunking’ was to shift to low gear and when my speed reached greater than 30kms, I would switch to drive. I have taken this vehicle back 2 times to the Honda dealer where I purchased it, and both times they have taken the Odyssey for a test drive with two techs, and the last test drive was with the Director of Fixed Operations – found nothing?? The first time two tecks did a test drive and a computer diagnostic and they tell me they found nothing. Today the Director of Fixed Operations tells me that he will look at the Honda history to see if similar problems have been encountered with the 2017 Odyssey.
